Data and access
Privacy Policy
Effective:
MyGGDrive is a personal desktop configuration operated by its owner. It connects the owner's Google Drive to Windows through Rclone and WinFsp.
1. Information accessed and purpose
The setup uses the Google Drive API to provide file management from Windows. Depending on the owner's actions, Rclone accesses file and folder names, identifiers, sizes, timestamps, relevant metadata, and file contents. The authorized Drive permission also allows creating, modifying, and deleting files.
Google user data is used only to provide this requested file-management functionality.
2. Storage and transfers
Rclone communicates with Google directly from the owner's computer. OAuth credentials and tokens are saved in an access-restricted local configuration folder. Cached file contents and operational logs are also stored on the owner's computer. Logs may contain filenames, paths, and diagnostic details.
The cache is configured with cleanup targets of 10 GiB and 12 hours since last access. These are not strict capacity or retention guarantees: open files and changes awaiting upload may remain longer or temporarily exceed the size target.
3. Use and sharing
MyGGDrive does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, profiling, or training artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. This configuration does not deliberately send Google user data to unrelated third parties. Google processes requests as the connected service provider.
MyGGDrive's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. This documentation website
These static information pages do not receive Google Drive file contents or OAuth credentials. They contain no account-registration forms, advertising, or embedded analytics scripts. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process ordinary HTTP request information to deliver and secure these pages; see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
5. Control, revocation, and deletion
The owner can revoke this app's access in their Google Account's third-party connections settings. To remove local data, close files, allow pending uploads to finish, stop the mount, and then remove the local configuration, cache, and logs as appropriate.
Removing the local cache does not itself delete files already stored in Google Drive. File deletion actions through the mounted drive affect Google Drive according to the active Rclone configuration.
6. Contact and updates
Contact the owner at amornthepl@gmail.com. This policy will be updated if the configuration's purpose, data handling, or hosting changes.
